
WHAT IS THE GREAT SOUTH BAY MUSIC FESTIVAL:
The Great South Bay Music Festival is the largest three day, "American Themed" music, art & cultural family event on Long Island. Featuring over 35 musical artists on 4 stages, presenting top name as well as local up & coming artists in contemporary & classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, folk, zydeco, funk and all types of American music. (Last year featured such diverse legends as Foghat, The subdudes, Richie Havens, Railroad Earth, Nine Days, Tom Rush and 30 others.

A seperate KIDZONE area tent & stage featuring quality educational & fun childrens entertainment.
The Festival is also proud to present an American Patriots Area (PATRIOTS ZONE) featuring an authentic, live-in Civil War Encampment. The New York 3d's Infantry will live on site as they did in the Civil War, ...tents, military drills, authentic costumes, campfires, create the experience as you & your children are transported back in time to this critical time in history.
The PATRIOTS-ZONE will also feature Teddy Roosevelt as portrayed by (straight from the History Channel) Mr. Jim Foote re-enacting his famous speeches including "Carry A Big Stick".
A diverse Arts & Crafts market and a huge food court featuring a diverse array of hot & cold fare. Adult beverages are also available.
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL BEING HELD:
The Festival will be held on Friday, July 11, Saturday, July 12, & Sunday, July 13. The Festival is located on Smith Street, Shorefront Park in Patchogue, Long Island, New York.

Friday, July 11:
Doors open at 3 PM. First act 4 PM
Festival closes at 11:00PM
Saturday, July 12:
Doors open at 11:30 AM. First act 12 PM
Festival closes at 11:00PM

Doors open at 11:30 AM. First act 12 PM
Festival closes at 9:30PM

You will not be wristbanded until day of festival!
NOT PERMITTED ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS:
Alcoholic beverages, cans, bottles, recording devices, professional cameras, video equipment, laser pointers, coolers, outside food and beverages, empty containers, bicycles, wagons, carts, pets, glass, personal tents, umbrellas, unauthorized vending, fireworks, campfires or grills, weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband are strictly prohibited. Festival reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone from the grounds in violation to these rules and regulations.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE FESTIVAL:
We highly recommend bringing sun block, a hat, sunglasses, unrestricted clothing. Since the festival is being held in the middle of the summer it may become uncomfortably hot, even though you are on the water.
We also advise wearing comfortable shoes.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
There are designated parking areas as well as street parking throughout the area. There will be staff to direct you.
ARE THERE ATM'S AT THE FESTIVAL?
There are ATM machines conveniently located throughout the festival site.
ARE THERE FOOD VENDORS? WHAT KIND?
The Great South Bay Music & Art Festival is proud to feature all types of food & beverages from American classics such as burgers, hot dogs, shrimp and clams to barbeque and fresh fruit.
WILL ADULT BEVERAGES BE SERVED?
A "Brews Tent" serving a diverse selection of local home grown beers, as well as regional favorites Also, for a comfortable respite in the middle of all the activities and events visit our serene Wine Garden, serving the best Long Island wines.
