Carrie and The Cats are a funk/rock and roll band from Long Island, New York. Led by the incredible talent of Carrie Lynn Wicks, the group came together in early 2016 and features Will “Wee Wee” Bart on Guitar, Billy “Bad Bones” Hanley on Saxophone, Chris Parrett on Bass, and Danny Roman on Drums. The band channels the soul and passion of classic acts like the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, and Aretha Franklin, while adding a new-school flair reminiscent of Amy Winehouse and John Mayer Trio. The band has had the honor of playing at Great South Bay Music Festival 2017, The Paramount (opening for Matisyahu), Alive After Five, Montauk Music Festival, SXSW, and won the 2018 Long Island Blues Challenge.
