Scarabino is an Alternative/Prog Rock band from Long Island, New York. Michael Scarabino, Ajay Hosking and Julian Pitto linked up in 2016 and began work. They bonded over their common passions, mutual inspirations, and vision to express their unique perspective in music. With a complete lineup, Scarabino began to establish themselves in the Long Island music scene playing their new music and have performed with artists like Vista, The Haunting, Off Guard, and Nonstop to Cairo. The year 2017 began with the release of their AA side single Setbacks / Here And Now. In the month of May, Scarabino got to perform with XEB (ex original members of Third Eye Blind) at Revolution Bar and Music Hall, and took the stage at Jones Beach Ampitheater to support the ceremonial event of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). A great contribution was shown to MADD. After the spring shows, the band played shows 1-2 times per month as they began production for their next EP The Only Line. Now with a molded lineup for making a record, they developed new concepts for their songwriting, and branding their image onward. The Haunting’s drummer John Von Braunsberg was brought in to record and produce the EP. The Only Line was released on November 10th, 2017. Scarabino headlined their first show to launch the record and saw tremendous success with a nearly sold out crowd at Revolution Bar and Music Hall! The band has been proud of their successes, and continues to branch their music out to new fans.
