The Om-en are now a national group of spiritually connected souls sharing the positive message and energy of their original songs. They have played locally in New York for the last several years since its inception and have increased national visibility by popular demand since the addition of talented lead singer 18 year old Shannon Gibbons. They will be playing at the Great South Bay Music Festival on July 22nd for the 7th consecutive year.

The band has enjoyed critical success for the original songs on the first album “Songs for Family and Friends” and its second album “Om Will Take You Home” with singles of the title track and ” I Am The Mountain” and “Should Have Been You”. It’s third album “The Om-en Introducing Shannon Gibbons” will be released in time for this Summer 2018 season and includes the spectacular song “Prayer for Peace”.

The band recently played the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah and is playing the Montauk Music Festival, the Strawberry Festival, Bellport Summer Concert series and many vineyard and other local venues this Summer and Fall in New York. They are playing Summer Festival in August on the Gulf Coast in Florida The Om-en have been fortunate to play before such notaries as BB King and the Doobie Brothers and last year on the final day at GSBMF before Graham Nash.

The Om-en match all proceeds from gig and album sales with donations to teen suicide prevention and child meditation causes. Last year we donated in excess of 38K.
